After years in the banking industry working for community banks, regional banks, and one of the nation’s largest brokerage firms, Mike saw the untapped potential in small business lending. In 2006, he created a lender service provider company, which became known as VITAL Financial Services.
Mike’s work at VITAL is the culmination of more than 35 years’ experience that he brings to each and every client he serves. He has helped community banks throughout the Midwest loan and protect millions of dollars that support local business while improving bank performance. Through VITAL Financial Services, he has cultivated proven processes and quality control measures that ensure complex SBA and USDA loans are done right, every time.
Director of Servicing
Jo works with VITAL bank clients regarding the sale and settlement of SBA and USDA loans, monthly 1502 reporting and servicing. She uses her 13 years combined customer service and SBA loan servicing experience to bring a knowledgeable aptitude to the VITAL team. She has been recognized for outstanding quality assurance, and brings that extensive attention to detail when closing and servicing government guaranteed loans. She communicates daily with VITAL’s lenders to assist with servicing questions, as well as processing and splitting payments. Jo prepares monthly reports to the SBA, and acts as a liaison between lenders, Colson Services Corporation, and the SBA and USDA for any needed servicing requests or transcript reconciliations. With her organizational skills and meticulous editing experience, she provides valuable assistance to the VITAL team.
Larry is an agriculture lending strategy consultant whose work primarily focuses on risk mitigation in ag business, and providing ag lending strategy services. Larry brings decades of lending, consulting and merger acquisition experience to the VITAL team. In addition, he is an expert witness in financial and creditor litigation and has provided consulting services to agribusinesses such as feed suppliers, poultry operations and farm managers. Larry’s extensive capability offers lenders the opportunity to place an expert alongside borrowers in the agriculture industry to help manage cash, structure financing, make corrections in management and operations, and much more.
